“તારીકે અવલિયા એ ગુજરાત” – “મિરાતે અહમદ” નામનું એક પુસ્તક છે, જેની પહેલી આવૃત્તિ વર્ષ ૧૯૨૩માં છપાયેલ છે. આ પુસ્તક મૂળ ફારસી ભાષામાં લખાયેલ પુસ્તકનું ગુજરાતી ભાષામાં કરેલ અનુવાદ છે. આ પુસ્તકનું અંગ્રેજી અનુવાદ પણ કરવામાં આવેલ છે, જે ખુબ લોક પ્રિય છે.
In the year 1923, the first edition of the book called “Tarikhe Avliya e Gujarat Mirate Ahmadi” was published. The book was originally written in Persian language and this book is its Gujarati Translation. This book is also translated in English, which is very popular.
ગુજરાતના ઈતિહાસ પર વિશ્વનીય જાણકારી આપતું આ પુસ્તક છે, જેણે દુનિયા ભરના સંશોધન કરો અને સરકાર માન્ય રાખે છે. આ પુસ્તકમાં પીરાણાના ઈમામશાહ, દસોન્દ અને કાકાની ભૂમિકા પર બહું સરસ માહિતી આપેલ છે.
This book gives credible information about history of Gujarat. This book is highly regarded and followed respected researchers of the world and the government alike. This book contains very good information about Imam Shah, Dasond and role of Kaka.
… તેમજ ઔરંગઝેબ બાદશાહના રાજના દસ્તાવેજોનો પણ આધાર લેવામાં આવેલ છે.
… similarly this book refers to the documents of rule under the Aurangzeb king.
આ પુસ્તકમાં જાણવા લાયક ખાસ મુદ્દાઓ આ પ્રમાણે છે;
Important points worth noting in this book are as under;
૧) ઈમામશાહના પિતા અને તેમના પૂર્વજોના નામો આપવામાં આવેલ છે.
1) Names of Imam Shah’s father and his ancestors are given.
૨) ઈમામશાહ લોકોનું ધર્મ પરિવતન કરાવતા હતા, જે આજ સુધી ચાલુ છે.
2) Imam Shah was involved in convert people’s religion. This activity is still going on even today.
૩) ઈમામશાહના અનુયાયીઓ, દરગાહ અને ઈમામશાહના ઓલાદ (એટલે સૈય્યદો)ના, ખર્ચ માટે આવકના દસમો ભાગ એટલે દસોન્દ આપે છે. પ્રથા એટલા સુધી ફેલાયલી છે કે જો દસ બાળક થાય તો એક બાળક દરગાહની સેવા માટે આપે છે.
3) Followers of Imam shah pay Tithe (i.e, Dasond) which is 1/10 of annual income towards the maintenance of the Dargah (tomb) and towards up-keeping of the family of Saiyyeds who are descendants of Imam Shah. The practice is so deep that if one has 10 children, then 1 child is given for Dargah’s work.
૪) ઔરંગઝેબ રાજના દસ્તાવેજો પ્રમાણે, પરધર્મી અનુયાયી (હિંદુ) દરગાહ માટે કપાઈ મરવાના પણ દાખલાઓ છે .
4) According to the records of Aurangzeb’s kingdom, there are instances where non-muslim(i.e., Hindu) followers of Imam Shah have sacrificed their lives.
૫) કાકાનું શું કામ હોય છે, તેની પણ જાણકારી આપેલ છે.
5) It also mentions about the work of Kaka.
૬) ઈમામશાહનો ઉર્સ રમઝાન માસના ૨૭ મીએ છે. (આ દિવશે સતપંથીઓ પગ પાળા કરીને પીરાણા જતાં હોય છે.)
6) Imam Shah’s death anniversary is on 27th of Ramzan. (This is the day when many Satpanthis walk long distances to reach Pirana)
